The aluminum 4.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8, deliver low emissions, provide excellent mileage with regular fuel, and has a smooth, quiet operation.

Both DHS and DTS are equipped with standard massaging lumbar front seats to help melt away the strain of the day or the miles. This system works with the power lumbar system and activates a continuous roller system, gently massaging your muscles in ten-minutes cycles. So now, instead of needing a little massage after a long session behind the wheel, you can get a massage from behind the wheel of your DeVille. After all, comfort is a Cadillac tradition too.

Innovations in seating provide DeVille owners with a new level of comfort and customization. Rear seats are raised to provide a theater position for an improved view. On the DHS, rear seats include 4-way lumbar. Between the driver and front passenger seat of DeVille and DHS, you'll find the new center flex-seat module. It offers roomy three-across bench-type seating when the armrest is in the up position, and a contemporary bucket-type seating configuration when folded down. Heated front and rear outbound seats, optional on DeVille and standard on DHS and DTS, are equipped with dual-zone controls providing heat either in the backrest only, or heat in both the backrest and seat cushion area. Adaptive seating, a state-of-the-art feature available on DHS and DTS, automatically and continually adjusts numerous seat and backrest cushion firmness settings to optimize driver and front-passenger seat comfort (eliminates massaging lumbar; requires Comfort & Convenience Package on DTS).
