3.0-liter OHV 12-valve V6 engine

Standard in the B3000 Trucks. Develops 150 hp at 5000 rpm and 185 lb-ft of torque at 3750 rpm. Built for durability and easy maintenance, with 100,000 miles between scheduled tune-ups.** It uses cam chains that don't need scheduled replacement (unlike some cam belts).

4.0-liter SOHC 12-valve V6 engine

New for 2003 and Mazda's most powerful truck engine ever, standard in the B4000 Trucks. Develops 207 hp at 5250 rpm and 238 lb-ft of torque at a low 3000 rpm. Built for durability and easy maintenance, with 100,000 miles between scheduled tune-ups. It uses cam chains that don't need scheduled replacement (unlike some cam belts).

2.5L engine (B2500) on vehicles built before January 2003. 2.3L engine (B2300) on vehicles built from January 2003.

A roomy Cab, with two rear doors for easy access to the space behind the front seats. Opening the front doors gives you access to the latches for the rear doors. This is the standard configuration for B4000 Dual Sport and 4x4 models, and it's available for B3000 4x2 SE models.
